I am a Board Member At Large at The Fine Arts Society, Arts Advocates, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that supports, promotes, educates with their art programs and community initiatives in Sarasota, Florida. I am a Member of other nonprofits such as Impact100SRQ (an all-women charitable giving group that funds transformational projects in the region), Sarasota Arts & Cultural Alliance, The Ringling Museum, The Selby Gardens, American Planning Association, and other charitable entities. As an art collector, philanthropist, and Lifelong Learner, I am passionate about discovering, researching, learning, growing, and interacting with artists, fellow collectors, and professionals. Before retiring, I was a successful business executive, and CEO-Founder, with over 25 years of experience in the luxury fine jewelry and art field. I provided sales, marketing, research, and consulting services to private collectors, dealers, and auction houses, with a focus on provenance, ownership history, style, age, and validation of fine jewels and art. I received multiple awards and recognition for my excellence and performance, including selling a D-flawless engagement ring to a blind customer at La Maison de Cartier's Flagship Salon in New York City. In addition, I was a cultural and goodwill ambassador of the Philippines as a member of the internationally acclaimed and multi-awarded Bayanihan Philippine National Dance Company, the official national dance company of the country. I performed on annual year-long tours around the world in five continents and fifty-one countries, including eighty-eight cities in the United States, showcasing the rich and diverse artistic cultural heritage of Filipino dance and music. I still enjoy dancing and mentoring young talents, and living with gratitude, optimism, and faith. I live by the quote, “Dance like nobody's watching; love like you've never been hurt.
