Children begin formal school at age seven when they enter Class 1 – the first class in the Lower School. Here they meet their Class Teacher who, ideally, will stay with them for the next eight years.

In the Lower School the curriculum is structured to accord with the child’s imagination and learning readiness. This is determined by the underpinning pedagogical philosophy that holds that children develop according to broadly universal phases, that abstract and conceptual thinking come more naturally to children at a later stage and that young children learn best when the teaching appeals foremost to their feelings and artistic sense. Subject matter is presented in a pictorial way in a context that emphasizes rhythm, routine and repetition.

All the core subjects such as English, Math's, History, Geography, Physics, Chemistry, are studied in block periods of 3-4 weeks in the Main Lesson, which form the first lesson on every school day.

My main field of interest is research, and I have written 18 teaching resource modules for medical-surgical nursing, emphasizing the importance of compassionate end-of-life care.

With two decades of experience as an educator, I have a demonstrated history of mentoring from preschool through graduate school. An engaging and fun speaker, I have been a frequent guest speaker at colleges and universities in the National Capital Region, with several invitations to Europe, the Middle East, and China.

"Do the things that inspire and complete your sense of being," I wrote, completing 18 books for medical-surgical nursing before earning my master's degree. My writing ability reflects meticulous and methodical expression.

An accomplished writer at the age of 24, I established my niche by writing articles to raise awareness about the welfare of abandoned, neglected, and abused children. My published articles and research have received praise from international journals around the world.

I am a licensed professional teacher who promotes and supports the importance of creative art as an effective approach to imaginative thinking, problem-solving, and the positive channeling of behavior and skills. Art is a vehicle for expression and an essential tool for healing.

How beautiful it is to see animals living freely in their habitat. They are different species of pigs having the time of their lives, completely undisturbed by the outside world. It is beautiful to see them go about their lives so carefree and orderly. They seemed to be in perfect harmony with each other, enjoying every moment as if they were living in their own little paradise.

But beyond the surface beauty of this video, there are some unknown truths about pigs that we may not be aware of.

Pigs are social animals that live in close-knit groups called sounders, forming piggy communities that stick together. They are always chatting with their special grunts and squeals. What's even cooler is that they can remember faces, not just of other pigs but of us humans too!

I know we’ve heard stories about pigs being messy, they actually are super clean creatures that need a reasonable amount of fresh water for good growth and production. Pigs require continuous access to quality drinking water. Water plays an important role in their body processes, such as regulating body temperature and transporting other nutrients around their bodies.

Access to clean drinking water ensures that pigs can meet their daily water requirements, promoting their overall health and productivity. Just like us humans, proper hydration is essential for these animals' well-being. Without enough water, they can suffer from dehydration and various health issues.

⚠ On March 26, Judge Andrade sentenced a person for the crime of animal abuse contemplated in Law 14.346. The convicted person committed the crime against dogs that he bred illegally to sell. 

The most interesting aspect of the ruling is that the judge ruled on the legal status of the animals at the prosecutor's request. In addition to considering them subjects under her interpretation of law 14.346, she also estimated that they are co-inhabitants of our interspecies societies and that they possess intrinsic dignity. 

It is worth highlighting some of the most important passages of the judgment:


✒ "The vision adopted by Law 14.346 moves away from the anthropocentric thesis and considers interspecies cohabitants to be the true victims of crime, it hierarchizes them and endows them with a legal status in which they are subjects of law," explained Andrade.

✒ "Dignity is an intrinsic value of all non-human animals that must be respected when they are cared for and treated. Their dignity is affected when a way of life is imposed on them that cannot be justified and that is humiliating, such as making them live in conditions that can be summarized as being surrounded by their own and another's fecal matter and urine, to the point of having it stuck to their bodies, having them sectored and even imprisoned, as can be seen in some of the photos of the non-human animals. I must say that as a judge I was shocked to see one of the photos where the place looks more like a prison cell than a room in a family home," said Andrade.

✒ Judge Andrade concluded with a reflection: "It was perhaps exaggerated to hear the prosecutor assimilate the treatment of non-human animals with the situation of human trafficking. I have seen the face of the defender at that moment and it seems pertinent to me to bring up the book 'Zoopolis', there the authors make a similar comparison and take charge of the effect it can cause in people, but explain the need to use it in a way that seems to me clarifying: 'This type of examples are an exercise of expansion of the moral imagination to see animals not only as vulnerable and suffering individuals but also as neighbors, friends, co-citizens and members of their own communities or ours'." And he continued "it means imagining a world in which human-animal relationships are taken seriously as the two coexist, interact and even cooperate on a basis of justice and fairness."

➡ This ruling adds to the more than 11 existing rulings in the country and ratifies a line of jurisprudence that opens a promising path for animals. It is noteworthy, moreover, that this is not strategic litigation but that both the prosecutor and the judge take into account the social and jurisprudential changes taking place in the country and the world.

This is incredibly fascinating. One of the repeat mantras, in America, is the concept of animals as being property. There has long been contention between property and their own rights and I love this forward thinking. Intrinsically, all living beings deserve dignity.

Eval. Notes: BEHAVIOR NOTE: When I approached his kennel, Ian was laying down in his Kuranda bed. He got up and approached the kennel door with a loose, wiggly body and a loose open mouth. I leashed him and he walked on a forward leash. While in the run he was running around with a loose body. On his way back inside, he walked on a tight leash. When I was walking other dogs, his kennel was uncovered from feeding. He was laying down with his back against the kennel door and didn't bark at every dog that walked by. He did bark very aggressively at dogs that stopped by and sniffed by his kennel . Throughout the day he was vocal in his kennel even with his kennel covered and even when no one was walking by.

I think it was fun standing behind the mannequin. 

In Life, the potential for better possibilities are lost because we lose our own giftedness by forcing ourselves to fit in. Look inside oneself and project into reality those dreams and goals we want to achieve. Like a seed, go ahead,  grow and flutter those leaves and blossom.

The world is lighter and brighter with Peace, harmony and Love. ❤️

Every book has a story behind. The making of a book. There are many things to bring a book to life. The contract of my book expired in 2023. Formally released in 2024. After 5 years,  I choose to terminate and republish. I am so happy about it. ♥️

This is the updated cover and title of my book. An artist friend of mine from Shanghai, China suggested using my profile photo as the book cover and a Spanish poet friend Jerry Sanchez , added " the life of a princess. 

I would like to especially thank a good  lawyer Leonides Madrilejo for the legal advice on copyright and David Strider for his advice on the marketing side.  Thoughts on Advertising and Book promotion from several friends and  from MATT ALLEN . 

It's a great leap of faith 🙏.

The path to recovery is not a straight line. Getting up and finding meaning in what you have become after a traumatic brain injury is no easy task. 

Recovery and reintegration to social structure can be very demanding and adjustment far too easy. The courage to find oneself is a journey traversing physical, emotional and spiritual healing.

Easier said than done it challenges one's determination to rise up and become the best version of yourself beyond injury and trauma. Coping with the change can be very frustrating. But then you can't get stuck and rot.  To live another day with a vision towards the future is to accept and move forward. Change is a process. Consistency and discipline are avenues to develop and practice 

He reached out with a certain and fixed goal of painting a narrative of that extraordinary journey between lives. Spending a decade in search of self.

The world offers too many destinations to travel but the longest journey is the journey inward.

I saw unwavering will and strong determination the moment he set foot and the Manila International airport. 

To take plunge and grab the pen. To get down with the storyline is just the right challenge for me to work.

Morning has broken 💔. Rise with the sun.

Life may not always a bed of roses 🌹. sometimes a pond of lilies come.

The water lily symbolizes resurrection, because these flowers close up at night and reopen in the morning, similar to a spiritual rebirth. 

Buddhists also believe that the water lily represents enlightenment because a beautiful bloom emerges from the dark mud.

At the end of the day, it was worth the walk to see the beautiful Rose Garden. 

Which  reminds me of the line in a song and a book. " I never promised you a Rose Garden. 🌹

It means promises that life would always be carefree and happy  would be a false promise if it was made. 

The theme of the novel presents the issue of mental illness from multiple viewpoints. It provides us with a portrait of mental illness as it is experienced by the patient.

Guess what, still enjoying the cold weather up in the cordillera mountain. Baguio City, the flower capital of the Philippines. Writing three books has never been so much calmer in a laid back place.

❤️ l admire horses. Its majestic composure, grace and beauty is something I always cherish. The imposing presence in the open spaces is simply a sight to behold. I feel pace and celebrate speed. I have a special affinity for horses. It's a passion I share with my Great grandfather. Like all other animals, winged, or hooves beings, it deserves care, appreciation and respect.

I had a great and awesome day with horses. it was so much fun 😀. Horses emanates power and peace. I love it.

Horses weren't native to the Philippines in the pre-Spanish era, The origin of the horse in the southern parts of the Philippines is more likely an offshoot of one of the prehistoric East Indian horses, probably Equus sivalensis, brought to the Sulu Islands from Sumatra, Borneo and Malacca during the mid 15th century. 

Long before the Spanish conquest, the Muslim tribes of the southern Philippine Islands had horses, which apparently came from Sumatra. 

The Philippines horse myth. 

The Tikbalang is a creature of Philippine folklore said to lurk in the mountains and rainforests of the Philippines. It is a tall, bony humanoid creature with the head and hooves of a horse and disproportionately long limbs, to the point that its knees reach above its head when it squats down.

Did you know that horse fighting is illegal in the Philippines?

Anyone engaged in horse fighting can be imprisoned for six months to two years and fined P30,000 to P100,000 ($676-$2,200), depending on whether or not the horse dies.
