As Recruitment Manager of the Resort, I manage the staffing needs of LEGOLAND California Resort (2 Hotels, SEA LIFE Aquarium, LEGOLAND CA Park). My team actions full cycle recruitment to meet employment needs in a timely manner. I collaborate with the Business to forecast Associate through Management staffing needs with ample time to recruit and onboard. The position requires a keen eye for marketing to create incentives and initiatives for further candidate reach and the San Diego/North County community awareness. Previous to my role as Recruitment Manager I was the Food & Beverage Training & Development Supervisor. I created and delivered mass training curriculum, CAL/OSHA, to our employees (approximately 500 employees). My two other areas of focus within the Food & Beverage Team were guest service/recovery (23+ food outlets) and all recruitment and personnel needs for Food and Beverage: Associate through Senior Management level (approximately 150 new hires each year). I worked closely with our HR and Payroll Departments and served as the HR liaison for our Department. To note- For a time in 2020 and 2021, I lead recruitment efforts to bring the LEGOLAND Park back into full operation via fulfilling staffing needs for all operational roles. While my tenure at LEGOLAND CA started in the Marketing and Sales department as a Coordinator, I soon found my niche in working with people and helping others build their career paths. I worked as a Resort Recruiter sourcing and onboarding up to 500 people per year. Soon after, I moved into the Recruitment Supervisor role managing recruitment planning, projects, higher Leadership sourcing and onboarding prior to moving into the Training & Development Supervisor role. Preceding my time at LEGOLAND, I worked within the Social Services field for both Child Welfare (Social Services Worker) and a Skilled Nursing Facility (Social Services Director) for approximately 6 years.
