Bootcamp Assistant (TA) for Full-Stack Development Students

Full-Stack Teaching Assistant

✔️Development of a SPA (Single Page Application) with an AirBnB look and feel, using React for the Front End and Redux as state management. All the components were developed with CSS without the use of external libraries.

✔️Some features of the project: Cache of searches, orders and filters, controlled form for creation of turistic activities.

✔️The SPA consumes data from an API (“Countries”) through a Back End developed in Node.JS using Express, adding new functionalities to the original API.

“Programá Tu Futuro" (Code Your Future) is a technology education program aimed at bringing
programming to the community, and promoting a democratic access to technology education.

For this, various initiatives such as interactive programming courses are implemented - online and completely free-, a cod club open to the community with five locations in the city, and an internship program in IT government areas of the City for students of technical secondary schools.

As technical advisor I participate in creating content (videos, texts, classes ) for use in the virtual classroom and code club and advise on which technologies are best to create different tools or content . I am also the Code Club Coordinator, which means I plan and implement the teaching strategy.

I worked as an observer for vulnerable sectors version of the academy for entrepreneurs. I visited three of the poorest slums of the city and analyzed the group dynamics that occurred in each one.

I have been invited as one of the 50 Youth Delegate, from around the world, to attend the UNESCO Week for Peace and Sustainable Development: The Role of Education.
With Ada, the social tech enterprise that I lead, we have been selected by our work training women -without access to university or without a job- in Frontend Software Development to then place them in job opportunities both with us or with other companies. 
We train this women with the skills to succeed on the 21st century

This event presents a unique platform for discussion on two key programmes of the Education Sector, namely Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) and Global Citizenship Education (GCED), and their practical contribution in achieving Target 4.7 of the Sustainable Development Goal 4 on Education. The Week will focus on the issue of teachers and teacher training, and highlight best practices in the fields of ESD and GCED. Participation is by invitation only.

The 2016 Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative (YLAI) Pilot is an international exchange program sponsored by the Bureau of Western Hemisphere Affairs of the U.S. Department of State and implemented by Meridian International Center.  It is focused on the themes of developing entrepreneurial skills and enhancing economic opportunities for 24 young professionals from Latin America and the Caribbean.  The program will highlight projects that contribute to entrepreneurship and innovation in the following areas: technology for social change, appropriate technology for development, mobile application technology, renewable energy technology, and public health technology.

I'm Celeste, a former award winning social entrepreneur turned Software Engineer.
I have been working in the technological industry for more than 10 years on several roles: BI Developer, Consultant, Founder, Designing Learn to Code Programs and Software Engineer.
As Software Engineer I'm mainly focused on the Frontend with extensive experience in React, Javascript, Typescript, Tailwind, GraphQL (client-side).
I've worked also with NodeJS and Prisma. 
I love to build things through coding and I'm amazed about what technology can do since my childhood as my mom was also a Software Engineer.
I'm fluent in english and I learn quickly.

As founder I created one of the leading latin american non-profit of women in tech that trained and introduced thousands of women to coding!
