Castle Rock ITS

• Led development and deployment of Intelligent Transportation Software (ITS) for government clients— primarily traveler information websites, mobile apps, APIs, and public data hubs, as well as special projects in Connected Vehicle (CV) data exchange. 
• Orchestrated design and delivery of software integrations with variable-price tolling systems, on-vehicle AVL and CAN interfaces, Waze incident data, extreme weather reports, and EV charging databases, as well as converting clients’ data into industry data standards (e.g., GTFS, SAE J2945).
• Managed bidding/RFP process for potential projects with state, county, and regional DOTs, as well as contract renewals or change orders for current clients.

Twenty Four Seven Hotels

• Developed company protocols, processes and tools for providing in-house digital marketing & PR to a rapidly-growing portfolio of 30+ hotels
• Hired, trained, and coached the company’s inaugural eCommerce & Marketing Department on core competencies, leading monthly revenue calls, and handling new construction and hotel openings. Managed quarterly OKRs, hosted daily standups, and developed process documentation for the new eCommerce Department.
• Assisted with drafting pro formas and annual financial reports relating to each hotel’s digital services, or to help bid on or sell commercial properties

• Managed content and performance of all digital outlets including social media channels, business directories, online travel agencies, and reputation monitors
• Led re-branding initiative for the in-house restaurant, thereby managing PR agency and interior design efforts. After successful re-opening, Trillium Restaurant saw increases of +220% weekday revenue. 
• Managed design of hotel’s print collateral, ad placements, signage, and all other visual assets
• Developed the Hotel Sales & Marketing Internship Program with oversight of two interns per semester

• Developed and submitted grant proposals to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security to solicit funding for fire agencies to conduct volunteer recruitment and retention activities. 
• Assisted with marketing campaigns, recruitment events, and trainings for volunteer firefighters. Marketing  efforts included drafting email newsletters, designing marketing collateral, and identifying opportunities for Fire Chiefs to attend community events or hold information sessions.

After business hours, you'll find me attending community bike rides, writing grants or policy testimony for local advocacy groups, or hiding deep in the woods of the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
