Some of my duties at Morrisons include creating eye-catching gift hamper and balloon displays for various seasonal events throughout the year, both for the store and for customers based on different occasions, design, colour, and theme preferences. Helping to further increase the sales of the store.

I also assist customers with designs for personalised photo cakes, manage orders to satisfy customer needs and maintain seasonal displays and promotional ends while staying up to date with the latest promotions.

My role also includes serving customers and dealing with any enquiries to give the best customer care and service.

Fun Cases

During my time at Funcases I used my creative skills to develop engaging designs that convey the brand’s message and identity for various products and marketing materials. 

I created content for social media campaigns such as TikTok, Instagram and website updates.

I also collaborated with the marketing team to ensure consistent and engaging visual content across multiple channels. 

I took part in creative idea generation, such as a new product release of customisable air fresheners. 

Additionally with my eye for detail and design I curated PR/Influencer promotional packages and used my creative skills in product photography and editing.

As an academic peer mentor, I provided helpful and professional learning support to first year graphic design degree students, supporting their integration into university education.

I also provided feedback at their project reviews and presentations. Aswell as providing advice both academically and personally for any student concerns or enquires. 

My role also required liaising with the head of year and lecturers to provide the best guidance for students.

My role included serving customers and dealing with any enquiries, dressing shelves, and maintaining stock levels.

I am a final year Graphic Design student with a passion for making a positive impact through creativity and using design to break barriers to represent the voices of underrepresented communities. Being fluent in both Arabic and English, I draw strength from diverse perspectives and thrive in adapting to new environments. I have a strong drive to learn new skills and push boundaries to create meaningful impact. As I approach graduation, I am intrigued by the world of design and its endless opportunities to create visuals and I am seeking a career in the creative sector.
