Last week, I left LinkedIn after 4 years. 

(PS: yes, that’s my actual badge in the photo. I promise I was here 4 years, not 20. So not really sure what happened here 😂)

When I first started, I remember reaching out to top athletes, big executives, and famous personalities.. sending that hopeful message: 'You should be on LinkedIn' 

Most ignored me. Some answered kindly, but the answer was the same: 'LinkedIn isn’t for me' 

And I got it. Back then, LinkedIn still felt corporate. Stiff. Buttoned-up. But I believed it could be more. A platform where professionals could actually show up as themselves. Where the person mattered as much as the title. 

That belief shaped everything I did here. From day one, I pushed to change how people saw LinkedIn - not just as a digital résumé, but as a place where real stories and real voices could live. 

But here’s what I’m most proud of: 
The thousands of people I got to support. Creators finding their voice. Athletes sharing their stories. Founders building in public. Executives leading with authenticity. 

Some even told me LinkedIn changed their lives (and I believe it)

And those athletes who once ignored my messages? 
Many became partners. Some became friends. That shift didn’t happen by chance... it happened because we proved what LinkedIn could be.
