As a researcher for a report about corruption I conducted interviews with multiple experts in addition to analysing and reviewing various (legal) documents. It was a very thorough and detailed process in a tight collaboration with experts in the field I learnt a lot from.

Media and research agency fixers.press assisted foreign journalists and media companies interested in the Baltics. I personally worked with some of the top journalists and production companies in the field like Vice (for HBO), Zero Point Zero (for Netflix) and Daily Mail.

I wrote investigative and feature articles on various issues including human rights, environment and politics. Eesti Ekspress is the most respected investigative newspaper in Estonia.

US State Department fellowship (Miami Herald)

As the US State Department fellow I spent one month learning from the country's best journalists. Nearly half of that time I spent at Miami Herald's newsroom.

I wrote daily online news and commentaries, often focusing on social and defence issues. I was later promoted to become the first data journalist in the newspaper. I looked for, analysed and visualised data to make complex issues more attractive. I often collaborated with journalists from all over Europe.

As a former award-winning journalist, U.S. State Department Fellow, and local producer for international media (Netflix, Daily Mail, Vice), I never stop learning. 
My team at Journo Birds crafts articles and videos to draw attention to those who deserve it.

In addition to my native Estonia, I have worked and studied in Australia, Spain, Denmark, Germany, France, and the Netherlands. I now split my time between Estonia and Moldova.

In 2024, I led and managed a year-long project funded by the Ukraine-Moldova American Enterprise Fund to increase understanding of Moldova.
