According to my degree, I am a professional problem solver. Hello, my name is Maricia (Muh-Ris-C-Uh) Clark, and I am a New Jersey Institute of Technology Alumna with a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Enginering. During my four years in attendance at NJIT, I gained hands-on experience with popular computer-aid design applications such as Creo Parametric, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Ansys Workbench. Aside from creating models, I was able to expand upon my design experience by running computation fluid dynamics simulations, as well as statistical structure analyses. My CAD portfolio is diverse in complexity from 2D models to 3D models composed by datum points. In the laboratory, I have been exposed to experiments in reference to centrifugal pumps, internal combustion engines, vibration monitoring and analysis, heat transfer by free and forced convection, the vapor compression refrigeration cycle, turbulent and laminar flow, acoustics, and programmable logic controllers, just to name a few. Shortly after obtaining my degree, I entered the automation industry and became a Control Systems Engineer. In the 9 months of my employment, I have supplied design work for numerous projects, and supplied physical support to five different sites across the United States. At this time my experience mainly consists of, but is not limited to, Data Centers. As a first year CSE, my experience encompasses trouble-shooting IO, PLC programs, mechanical instruments, and field devices such as transmitters and sensors. I have worked with Studio 5000, Yabe, PuTTy, RSLogix, Connected Components Workbench, and Aveva Solutions (formely Wonderware) to name a few. I am also familiar with the common Microsoft products, and the Google duplicates, such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, One Note, Visio, Docs, Slides, and Sheets (the Google Products). I am willing, and competent enough, to learn any new interface or software presented to me. In terms of programming languages/syntax, I am familiar with MATLAB, MathType, MiniTab, and Vaisala Syntax. I have a strong academic background, graduating Bloomfield Technology in Bloomfield, New Jersey with Business as my field of study. I concluded my attendance as class Salutatorian with a GPA of over 4.325. My GPA at the New Jersey Institute of Technology concluded at a 3.6, making Dean’s List consecutively. I have a strong foundation for both mathematics and English, so I am able to competently carry out hand calculations, as well as produce reports. My work background is diverse, so I am equipped with a skillset beneficial for most positions.
