With a background in social sciences, design and systems change, I research and write about the major shift our society is going through. So many people feel it in their bones: nót this. Not this -whether we talk about the way we live, eat, work, care or learn. How do we live our lives in these times of change? When we believe the systems we created no longer serve us, but we have not built a new way yet? How do we not run away (ignore, numb) or become overwhelmed (stuck, paralysed)? How do we instead help ourselves and each other? To find our role in (co)creating a world in which we feel more connected to ourselves, each other and the earth? As I research, write, coach and facilitate I thrive: - Asking 'why', applying systems thinking to create understanding of the problem and its underlying dynamics; - Translating this deep understanding in clear language, insights and frameworks; - Asking 'what if?', using creativity, imagination, and experimentation to explore alternative futures; - Creating a safe environment for people to go though this process together, in a collaborative way; - Taking on a coaching leadership style, building trust, helping people find their way through new and uncertain territory. Right now, I am diving into the world of Regenerative leadership with Laura Storm and Emily Johnsson and the amazing community of 300+ co-travellers. It is mind-blowing and heart-warming.
