I believe that every individual has a vast amount of untapped potential and the ability to live a more meaningful and impactful professional life. That’s why helping individuals thrive in their jobs and supporting corporate clients create an environment where employees flourish and contribute positively to the business are my professional callings. Starting The Human Factor (THF) was a natural progression of my previous work experience. I started my career by conducting research for the public sector before working on various consulting projects for large companies and advising entrepreneurs. During that time, I have worked along with many very talented individuals and teams and have written extensively on numerous topics, including reports on management and organisational practices. In the process, I became increasingly interested in the people aspects of businesses. About 10 years ago, I decided to focus on education and learning and development. Since then, I have been privileged to facilitate courses and programs for thousands of individuals across all parts of Asia-Pacific, Europe, and North America. My style is often described as being at the same time gentle and demanding, and reflective and pragmatic. I have acquired a solid reputation for my ability to: - establish trust quickly with clients and participants; - work with ease across cultures at different hierarchical levels; - deliver content in a direct and clear manner; - create a positive, safe, and dynamic learning environment that stimulates creativity. In addition to leading THF, I actively support Aidha, a charity that helps foreign domestic workers and low-income women, and am a board member of Big Bloom, an organisation that combines leadership development and social innovation. I have lived in Asia for 25 years and continue to enjoy travelling around the region from Singapore, which has been my home for 18 years. Visits to family often take me to France (my home country), Australia, and Malaysia. My expertise is in face-to-face and online facilitation, webinars, coaching, instructional design, learning innovation, leadership, change management, and communication.
