As the Event logistics coordinator, I coordinate Sherweb’s presence across international, regional and internal events. I book event related accommodation, airfare, car, rail and ground transportation and maintain a complex database of attendee logistical information. I deal with last minute changes and modifications and strive at being flexible and adaptable to anticipate and implement timely solutions within challenging situations and deadlines. I establish and communicate new procedures and policies as to convey the companies’s direction. 

In addition to my travel related tasks, I insure that all branded material for events, partners and employees is created, ordered and shipped to various destinations. I work closely with the design team to ensure that our brand's visibility is maximized.

I am also in charge of receiving and validating traveler’s expense reports. I track, maintain and reconcile budgets and support our event team with fundraising and HR related events.

I seek opportunities to review operational processes and commercial relationships on a regular basis to provide suggestions for improvement. The most significant ones being a new partnership with a travel agency as well as helping implement a new expense management solution for the company.

Event logistics coordinator

I manage the development and procurement of new accessory products for BRP’s line of recreational vehicles. 

I coordinate the exchange of information between the engineering, quality assurance departments and the manufacturers. I establish sourcing strategies, prepare and coordinate the RFQ process, evaluate and present all elements for the supplier selection process. 

I collaborate with the department’s project leaders to ensure quality communication, both external and internal, to ensure operational success. I focus on optimizing the performance of each project in terms of supply chain capacity, quality, deadlines and cost, to create added value for the customer.

I manage the integration of suppliers in projects and focus on the long term development of commercial relations. I lead the project from the early stages of the engineering concept, to the purchase orders of toolings and samples, the initial order of production to the timely delivery of merchandise.

Manoir Hovey

I manage the marketing department of Manoir Hovey, a 5-star Relais & Châteaux hotel establishment. I create and update content for all digital platforms. My role requires writing bilingual promotional material as well as Adobe Photoshop projects for both online and print platforms. 

I manage the company's digital communications, creating the content and the calendar. I work closely with all the departments to help provide clear communication, ensuring that all conceptual and creative ideas are on target and on schedule. I capture digital content with videos and photos and communicate these through stories or narrative communication. I strive to create an emotional connection with the brand. I maximize communication opportunities across all social media platforms and interact accordingly. 

I keep an eye on trends and maintain regular communication with our PR firm to communicate our innovations and increase awareness and a positive perception of the hotel, services and staff. I manage and develop relationships with key social media influencers and journalists and organize their visit, from the logistics of their stay to the post-visit follow-up.

At the same time, I hold the position of administrative assistant, which involves the drafting of various internal documents related to administration and human resources. I assist the Managing Director with the administrative tasks related to the recruitment of local and international candidates. I ensure that all internal information is communicated correctly and efficiently to the other services.

I am a proven professional with over 10 years experience in travel management. I customized, planned and booked international luxury travel for a diverse portfolio of clientele. 

I took the initiative of expanding the agency’s custom travel services, offering complex, tailor-made, high-end travel planning. Based in France, I was the Tour Coordinator for an active travel company. I handled all the decision making and administrative work required for running all French tours.

I established a national B2B network with quality local vendors widening our offerings. I sourced vendors, negotiated contracts and built long-term business relationships. I managed the operational budgets, secured accommodation, sightseeing and dining for tour groups and booked travel arrangements for tour leaders. I designed and launched new and unique activities and sightseeing opportunities throughout eight different regions in France to promote an authentic off-the-beaten-path immersion.
