I've launched Cienfuegos Solutions, a boutique consulting firm specializing in engagements to launch, grow, and sustain businesses. As the lead consultant, I'm providing business planning and management support and coaching/facilitation services to organizations and individuals.

With over 10 years of hospitality strategy and operations experience and two years as a consultant managing large scale people and talent transformations, I am able to provide solutions anywhere brand, processes, and people intersect. I specialize in projects that blend right and left brain thinking and can most benefit entrepreneurs and organizations that put inclusive experiences and community at the center of their offerings.

Reported directly to CEO and Director of Customer Success. Lead internal process improvement across implementations, account management, sales,
and recruiting to scale organization, with 10% employee and 25% customer growth to-date. Launching inventory management and procurement software across company's first casino project; 18-outlet, $40MM F&B operation. Revised sales hand-off and onboarding process to reduce implementation time by 30%, account review meetings by 50%, and early-stage cancellation by 15%.

Director of Corporate Development

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants

Oversaw the implementation, change management, and ongoing support of all restaurant business systems. Led a team of Restaurant Systems Analysts, contractors, and vendors to develop and enact standards and processes to support and empower our restaurants. Partnered with senior leadership to identify, asses, and implement the technology solutions to profitably run our growing restaurant portfolio  of over 70 unique food and beverage concepts.

Reduced ticket volume and response/close times by over 40% and 70%, respectively. Developed first standardized implementation plan, cutting project overtime and post-project support by over 30%. Led over 4 implementations valued at over $60k each with architecture to support future integrations and data needs.

Product Manager

Reported directly to SVP of Restaurants and Bars. Managed enterprise programs, projects, and initiatives to scale operations while continuing our commitment to quality workplace culture (#14 on Fortune's Best Places to Work 2017, #1 on Fortune's Best Places to Work in the Bay Area 2017) and thought leadership (Power 20 Multiconcept Restaurant Groups by Restaurant Business). Set the foundation for our organization to standardize non-differentiating areas of our business across our restaurant group to further empower our operators to focus on the areas of the operations that most impact the guest. Developed first standardized employee manual now in use at all new store openings (4 stores in 2017). Implemented purchase to pay, end to end inventory management system automating and streamlining food and beverage ordering, receiving, menu management, and inventory reconciliation (2 stores, 10 hours/month of labor time saved).

Food and Beverage Programs Manager

Supported teams and projects across the Restaurant division of Kimpton Group in strategic planning, communications, project management, and event coordination with a focus on company and policy integration and new initiative implementation. Reported to the SVP of Restaurants and Bars and handled all internal communications within the restaurant division and external communications, contacts, and relationships with external ownership/asset managers, contractors, and vendor partners. 

-Led integration of the Restaurant Marketing department with the larger Kimpton Commercial Division
-Implemented Project Management tools across stages of the Restaurant Development and Openings process
-Recruited and onboarded all senior leadership roles (Corporate or Director level) within the Restaurant division
-Oversaw business development with national restaurant delivery and catering partners
-Planned and executed annual Chef GM Conference (300+ attendees), developed all collateral and content, managed speakers and sponsors, and led day-of logistics/run-of-show

Restaurant Coordinator

Avero

Managed and coordinated account teams of up to 6 people to enact business plans developed with client executives. Delivered 3x ROI to $2.2MM portfolio of large casino organizations, international hotel companies, and multi-segment hospitality groups while expanding client packages ($330K+ inside sales to date). Owned personal relationships with key economic decisions makers, strategic influencers, and operational champions. Identified product enhancement and business development opportunities for client retainment and upsell. Facilitated recruiting at Harvard University, securing 25% of incoming Class of 2015 talent.

Account Manager, Enterprise Accounts

Led/organized account reviews for executives from the largest and most well-respected companies in the industry. Promoted with portfolio expansion to include boutique hotels and cruise lines. Built, implemented, and automated certification/training program for largest client (1,200 salaried F&B employees) and successfully transitioned ownership to corporate training and development team.
