Normally I share a photo of Alaska scenery or the northern lights with something educational about Neuroplasticity.

This week, I wanted to share this photo of a wolverine my friend shared on his social media from Ft Yukon, Alaska.

This kind of creature came up our driveway once to hunt our pekingese dog and make her a snack.

She sat in the driveway barking at it, thinking she’d made a friend.

She also took on part-wolf, part-dogs twice her size.

But we knew she was no match for a wolverine.

We had to grab her just in time and put her inside.

There’s my Monday morning Alaskan story for you! 🤣

What was a time where you had an “almost became a snack” moment or breathed a sigh of relief afterwards?

I’ve also heard some amazing grizzly and polar bear stories from my native village friends and friends in the legislature.

I’m gonna let you in on my LinkedIn secret! I’ve started LinkedIn twice over before. 

Not because I wanted to but, because I honestly didn’t know how to do LinkedIn and wanted to do it the right way.

When I first started posting on LinkedIn I had already spent at least 2 years observing all the OG creators and how they were posting.

Then one day I got a DM from an all star on this platform, that caught me off guard.

He said, “You don’t learn the algorithm, the algorithm learns you!”

Mind blown… 🤯 

It took all the pressure off.

I realized it’s not about who I should make others think I am, it’s about who I authenticatically am in essence.

I get to be me here on this platform and that’s the cool part! 💖😉

What’s your biggest takeaway from learning to build authority on LinkedIn or in your career?

A sobering reminder from Pastor Greg Laurie that you can’t take anything with you when you die.

If you died today, do you know where you’d go? 

Sounds like a cliche question but, not one worth missing.

I had a friend who was from an extremely wealthy family. 

They were very successful professionally, but he was extremely lonely and sad. 

He struggled with not feeling connected, valued, or loved. 

He ended up dying suddenly one night. 

He left behind three little girls and a family that loved him.

I don’t know if I’ll ever see him again since he didn’t ever express faith in Christ.

I don’t want to see that happen to any more of my friends and family. 

I love and care for them all and want to see them in Heaven one day soon!

Mark 8:36 “And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul?”

Have you given your life to Him?

If not I’d be honored to talk with you about making Jesus your savior and king.

Sometimes when you’re facing nervous system disregulation all you can do is stand still and breathe slowly, for a sustained amount of time.

This can be caused by:

A stressful job or experience 
A stressful event 
An overload of toxins due to the inability to detox 
Information overload 
An emotional overload 

This is the moment where not just reframing but visualizing helps you reset the stress response…

…in the moment you’re at the peak of autonomic disfunction.

You can visualize a past positive memory or a future positive memory you’d like to create.

Your brain doesn’t know the difference between thinking and doing, so if you don’t have any past positive memories you can make them up and visualize a life without any stress or sadness…no diagnosis.

Your limbic system is like a child so you need to be careful what you say as if it were your own children listening. 

This helps you tell your limbic system you’re safe! 

Meditation on God’s word is the best way to bring complete peace to your mind and heart: 


“For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.” 

2 Timothy 1:7
