Hi there, I'm Marissa! I was born and raised in Los Angeles (one of the few!), although my life's journey has taken me to Philadelphia, Atlantic City, San Diego, and Santa Barbara County before dropping me right back to my childhood home. My education and career reflects my multipassionate nature: D1 varsity softball, luxury hospitality, journalism, ghostwriting, team and leadership coaching, business strategy, high-ticket community and event management, and marketing and brand development. Since 2008, I've been a trusted strategic advisor to some of the world's most influential leaders, helping them forecast global trends and interpret the implications of exponential technologies like artificial intelligence, virtual and augmented reality, quantum computing, and the blockchain. I'm increasingly concerned about the growing gap between visionary leadership and strategic implementation, and how this prevents us from meaningfully solving problems. I've witnessed firsthand how quickly mission-driven movements, high-performance teams, and successful companies can unravel and burn out when leaders outsource their integrity and incentivize their teams to do the same. I've also seen how technology can numb, divide, and lure us away from what's really important. Now, I'm fully focused on helping leaders, teams, and global movements learn how to partner with artificial intelligence so that they augment their abilities and scale their reach without outsourcing what makes us truly unique, and uniquely human.
