I was in charge of Securitas Direct Oy in Finland. I managed the daily operations in the country together with the Management Team (four  department heads) and the staff of appr. 100 sales and safety professionals. 
The company is now known as Verisure Oy and is the market leader in Finland. Verisure offers new and easy-to-use technology and smart safety solutions for all homes.

Securitas Direct is very agile security company and is the market leader offering smart, flexible and easy home safety and security solutions. The Securitas Direct corporation has business in nine European countries and also South America. It has major growth potential in most markets.

Sokotel Oy/Radisson SAS

As General Manager I was in charge of the Radisson SAS Seaside Hotel in Helsinki.  
Together with department managers and skilled staff we ran the operations of one of the biggest hotels in the city (337 rooms). The business was a mix of business and leisure guests.
We had also an extensive offering of Food & Beverage and Meetings & Events spaces and packages. 
The Radisson SAS brand was franchised from the Rezidor Hotel Group and owned by the Finnish SOK Retail  Corporation.

I managed the HR operations in the company of nearly 2000 employees, including three major hotel brands (Sokos Hotels, Radisson SAS Hotels, Holiday Club Hotels). This position included both HRM and HRD. 
 
The goal of HR was to create smoothly working guidelines and principles for hospitality HR in a rapidly changing business environment, ensure career opportunities and to retain talent and find new. All this was aligned with company business strategy and brand strategies, with strong emphasis on people development.

In order to create successful training processes, we worked closely together with line managers and leaders mainly from hotels and restaurants.
I also created some training programmes for corporate´s retail chains and some outside customers.
