My career is devoted to securing better places for people and wildlife through the planning system, environmental policy and inspiring young people about the natural and built environments. I am a chartered town planner with senior leadership experience in governmental and non-government organisations. I have held policy, operational delivery and leadership roles in planning, the environment and sustainable development. I am a confident communicator with an extensive personal network. I have regularly engaged with politicians, civil servants, decision-makers, industry/developers, the public and young people. I am a people person and passionate about helping others to achieve their potential and develop their skills. Most recently I was CEO of MOBIE, an educational charity that helps train and inspire young people to innovate in the design and construction of homes and and engage and inspire the future creators of the Built Environment. I have extensive experience as a Trustee/non executive - Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust, Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI), and currently the Offsite Alliance. I am a member of the General Assembly of the RTPI and its Education and Lifelong Learning Committee.
