Qualified town and country/environmental planner with over 30 years experience in planning, built and natural environment and housing organisations in the charitable, local government and central government agency sectors. I have worked in policy, operational delivery and leadership roles and have planning, environmental and sustainable development specialisms. Currently CEO at MOBIE. MOBIE is an educational charity that helps train and inspire young people to innovate in the design and construction of homes. We aim to attract, inspire and engage future creators of the Built Environment through exciting design challenges and an education pathway of new technical and vocational courses from BTEC to PhD, working with our education delivery partners. I have 10+ years experience as a Trustee/non executive - previously as a Trustee and Vice Chair of the Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust (2011 - 2020) and Trustee and Board Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI, 2009-2010). I am currently a member of the General Assembly of the RTPI and a Director of the Offsite Alliance. Goals - Improving place through great home design and inspiring a new generation to take up careers in the built environment and construction professions.
