Elevator Removal Specialists (ERS) is a Sydney based dynamic young Australian Modernisation Company that was founded in 2011 and that take great pride in our work - in a way that is rare today - which specialises in the decommissioning and removal of all types of lifts and elevators Australia wide.

The relationships we build and how we manage them ties everything together for ERS. We take a partnering approach to projects; developing relationships with clients and contractors to understand their needs and goals in order to identify optimal solutions for both their business and the project.

With over 20 years experience in the construction industry and since the only area we focus on is removing elevators, both Industrial and commercial, we have become very time efficient, while keeping a safe working environment and competitive rates. The operations director Gary Barkers experience and knowledge in Elevator Removal having taken out over 290 floors personally and never had a lift he couldn’t rip out will be over seeing every project to ensure we deliver on time, cost and quality.

We do the complete rip out service from building works, run the mains/telephone, remove door frames, make good, concrete cutting, remove all shaft equipment, strip/remove lift car, motor room, hoardings etc.

GKR Karate is the world’s largest independent martial arts organization with classes throughout Australia, UK, and USA. I have worked in Sydney, Wollongong and the UK - This role involved:

·         Direct sales in a variety of demographic and geographic market segments 

·         Management of a sales team of 20-30 people to ensure the successful operation of classes and educational development in each region.

Responsibilities included:

· Exceeding sales targets

· Full sales cycle management, from prospecting to presentation and closing

· Assist with regional operations including stock management and quality assurance

· Team leader reporting and branch instructor for 3 classes per week.

Other responsibilities include market research, segmentation, and target selection to identify geographic locations and develop/implement growth plans for new classes; planning, promotion, and conducting of seminars and tournaments; all aspects of club management including marketing, sales, operations, and reporting financials; drive new membership sales through the team of 6-10 Membership Consultants; produce positive results and growth on regional financial reports; and a Karate Instructor responsible for the quality and development of the standard of karate within the region.
