Biomedical Research Scientist paving my way to a Cloud Computing role after completing the AWS re/Start program in 8 weeks, becoming certified as an AWS Cloud Practitioner and currently studying for AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification utilizing AWS comprehensive scenario-based learning, hands-on labs, and coursework. It is not that I developed a new interest in information technology through the course of my career as a scientist. I was already integrating computer technology, including the ability to program software to streamline my workflows. Diverse research and development expertise in the Life Sciences within Academia and the Biotech Pharmaceutical Industry. I enjoy problem solving, being creative, and I see Cloud computing, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to be rewarding fields in which to reinvent healthcare technology, of which I would like to be a part of. I have trained as a mentor, a people manager, a project planner and manager, a teacher, a multi-tasking extraordinaire, a writer, an illustrator, a public speaker, I can manage budgets, write business plans, science researcher with exquisite attention to detail and the ability to distill complex ideas into simple messages. Every grant or paper I have proofread, revised, edited, students I have supervised, courses lectured are all projects I have managed to completion. Adaptable individual who has the drive and mental flexibility to adjust to new skills and occupations. An insatiable learner that is always excited to build expertise on a wide array of technologies. My colleagues would describe me as innovative, versatile, resourceful and possessing the ability to improvise on the spur of the moment. I am equally comfortable working independently to meet company goals, as well as collaboratively as part of a team. I have always been able to establish and maintain excellent relationships with clients and coworkers at all levels.
