Leading the New Technologies department at EY Law, my focus is on FinTech, recognized by Chambers as a top-tier individual and top-tier practice group, and AI/Data Regulation. In FinTech, my team and I guide clients through the process of obtaining a MiCAR license (previously VASP registrations) and structuring innovative crypto products, often integrating traditional finance regulations. For AI/Data Regulation, we navigate the complexities of the forthcoming AI & Data Act and other digital laws, turning these into opportunities and competitive advantages for our clients. We try to offer our clients an open and global perspective providing for out-of-the box solutions. Regular international speaking engagements, such as at renowned universities like Harvard Law School and Rutgers, and key industry events including the Blockchain Economy Dubai Summit and the Dubai AI Summit, help me to exchange expert knowledge on a global level.
