The company was started by me in 2002 for the purpose of developing system management services and a transaction management/workflow platform that I had developed.

Over the years, madworx has provided consultancy services to a large number of customers, as well as developed systems and frameworks to manage the operation and monitoring of customers' servers and services in a very resource-efficient manner. (A team of three on-call technicians monitored and managed over 100 servers, with different software and hardware environments, in a reliable manner with full traceability for routine work and incidents.)

Recent projects included:

* Technical due dilligence for a €18M company purchase.
 * Design, implementation and continual operation of an e-mail sending platform for the largest automated tendering company in Sweden.
 * Architecture of a platform for massive sending of voice calls, as well as hardware sizing for this.
 * Network design for one of Spotify's biggest suppliers of digitized music.
 * Platform for network availability, performance and security monitoring.
 * Complete high-performance, embedded SNMPv2 implementation in Java.
 * 802.1Q (VLAN) segmented network bridge with L3/L4 filtering, based on Linux 2.6 kernel.

Responsible for development of the operations and support of the NGM exchange’ real-time market platform, processing some 100 million transactions per day and supporting members spread across Europe.

The work included everything from system architecture and software development, to budgeting, team leadership and motivation, strategic planning, network-, software- and server debugging as well as project management.

Pixbox (Anomalies AB)

Pixbox was founded by two partners and me - Together we created what became the 8th largest website in Sweden, and the largest photo-sharing community in Scandinavia with over 150,000 users and more than 40 million user uploaded photos.

I designed and implemented the majority of the infrastructure (servers, services, networking). All components in the system were designed to be isolated and freely scalable to enable services to be migrated between servers as system load occurred in different parts of the environment.

After the initial development, I took on a more traditional CTO role, working with the overall strategies and coaching the development team.

Global Mouth AB

During my time at Globalmouth, I created a platform for payment processing, automatic content adaptation, content distribution and inventory management, primarily via mobile devices.

This platform was used to deliver both run-of-the-mill services such as ringtones and cellphone background images, but also exclusive projects such as all mobile services and mobile web in Sweden for the Eurovision Song Content (Melodifestivalen), the Swedish Hockey League and FIFA World Cup.

Key technologies: Linux, HP-UX, PostgreSQL, PHP, Java (J2SE), ETSI/GSM 03.40 (3GPP TS 23.040), XHTML.

PlusFourSix AB

Responsible  for  software  development  and  system  operations. 

Notable  projects  include  initial design  and  development  of  the  backend  part  of  the  mobile B2B2C platform  on  which  PlusFourSix  ran  all its  mobile  marketing  activities,  with  end-customers  such  as  Ericsson,  SonyEricsson,  Samsung,  Netcom  and  Tele2.

System  architecture  and  software  development  of  content  adaptation  and  delivery  for  mobile devices.

Mobilehits  AB  was  acquired  by  Aspiro  AB  in  2003.

- Software development, mainly in C on x86 and SPARC architecture.
- Wrote tools to automatically test and monitor our flagship product, the Wireless Access Gateway.
- Was responsible for the system management and backups of the production environment.
- My work attributed to acquiring certifications from all leading SMSC manufacturers.
