From being a young engineer through to leading a $bn infrastructure project I have always been frustrated with project delivery performance, particularly how difficult it is to leverage experience from previous projects. I now have the opportunity to do something about it and it is a wonderful challenge. I am the founder of Projecting Success and my quest is to work with organisations to transform project delivery by taking a data driven approach. First and foremost, is the principle of community - if we want to make change happen we can't do it alone. This is why I've written and open sourced books on next generation PMO, risk management and more. As a profession, we need the horsepower to deliver it, which is why we deliver training to upskill project professionals in advanced data analytics and AI. We need the visionaries to drive the agenda, hence why I have taken such a lead role in setting up the project data analytics task force and more recently a coalition of senior leaders. We need the data to train the models, which is why we set up the world's first project data trusts for construction and offshore energy; both of which are non-profits. In 2017 I was proud to found the project data analytics meetup and in 2018 Project:Hack.
