Aviva Canada

Accountabilities include:

Relationship Management of  brokers (harvesting/cultivating).
Prospecting and acquiring new brokers and portfolios (hunting).
Accountable for managing a territory and conducting territory analysis to identify potential brokers and portfolio transfers.
Initiate acquisition/portfolio transfer meetings with prospective brokers.
Developing broker and/or business unit plans.
Developing, executing, and monitoring marketing activities, product promotions, campaign marketing, etc.
Act as an ambassador for Aviva, with brokers in portfolio, and out in the insurance community.
Monitoring broker performance on a monthly / quarterly basis.

• Manage company offices in Edmonton, Vancouver, and Calgary with an annual expense budget of 1.5 million for office supplies & contractor costs.

As a co-founder of 10 Percent Recruiting and BinaryLogic, I draw upon my extensive 15-year background in IT sales and marketing, coupled with my business management education and entrepreneurial drive, to assist small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and technology sector clients in addressing their business challenges. 

We provide them with dependable and cost-effective IT solutions and talent. I am responsible for overseeing all aspects of our business operations, encompassing sales, marketing, and business development. This includes strategic planning, forecasting, annual budgeting, and upholding a commitment to exceptional customer service and value.

I'm passionate about nurturing enduring and trustworthy relationships with IT and business leaders, HR professionals, and strategic partners. We are dedicated to delivering top talent and cutting-edge cloud-based technology solutions that offer secure, anytime, anywhere access from any device. 

Outside of the business world, I'm a dedicated coffee enthusiast, an avid trail runner, husband and father to 2 beautiful daughters. I'm always up for a coffee meetup or a run to connect.
