We provide true end to end solutions for technology brands, providing multi-channel & consumer approach recommendations, B2B & B2C relationship management, digital and social media solutions.

Currently supporting the Head Office on a direct sourcing model of all permanent and tactical staff, creating and implementing a workforce strategy for 2020 to improve quality of hire whilst driving down cost and time to hire. Designing a recruitment toolkit to ensure a consistently great candidate and hiring manager experience, including the implementation of assessment centres for big scale and/or client campaign recruitment.

Kuoni Global Travel Services

Leading and managing a team of 4, I was responsible for designing, developing and implementing the resourcing strategy for Kuoni GTS (formally GTA) in the UK and Europe. The main purpose was to ensure effective and efficient recruitment and selection for the business as well as advise on policy and strategy in regards to recruitment practices and processes, and to be seen as the subject matter expert in this field.

Key Achievements

· Implemented a direct sourcing model resulting in a saving from 2014-2015 of £155,000 and improved time to hire by an average of 15 days per role

· Launched corporate LinkedIn pages and introduced LinkedIn recruiter licenses

· Implemented a refer a friend scheme across Europe with 25 hires made in 2014

· Lead and co-managed the tender process and implementation of a new Global ATS, Brassring, to support the direct sourcing model

· Implemented a global reporting method to track average cost per hire, time to hire and most successful method of attraction

· Managed and re-negotiated the global PSL tender, resulting in a saving of a total of 65% on fees charged

Leading a team of 2, I was responsible for leading and managing operational recruitment for all Head office positions (circa 1500 staff) including Finance, IT, Buying, Merchandising and all support roles.

Responsibilities included:

· Set a recruitment strategy based on a needs analysis for each of my business areas to attract, engage and select the best people

· Managing a variety of roles across the business, with a particular focus on all senior commercial roles

· Managing end to end recruitment process, including writing job descriptions, selecting recruitment methods, advertising roles, screening CV's, conducting interviews, offer management and feedback ensuring a positive candidate experience from application to offer/decline

· Utilise computer databases, networking, internet recruiting resources, media, recruiting firms, employee referrals, and job fairs in order to find the best talent for open positions

· Effectively build and maintains qualified candidate pipelines to minimize the turnaround time needed to fill positions

· Maintains the applicant tracking database by documenting all contact and conversations while moving through the candidate workflow

· Co-ordinate and carry out interviews when required and provide feedback to successful and unsuccessful candidates

· Facilitate and manage assessment centers and ensure best practices are adhered to

· Provide assistance, advice and training to line managers in terms of the successful competency and behavioral interviewing

· Work with the Senior Recruitment Manager to produce management information and reporting key recruitment statistics

· Continuously review and consider new and innovative ways to improve the recruitment process to promote best practice while supporting the direct souring model

· Advise management teams on external trends and new technology or social media sites that enhance the overall recruitment strategy.

I'm an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager who is passionate about the impact that people and talent can have on an organisation. I’ve had a successful senior recruitment career in both the retail and travel & tourism markets, having worked for brands such as John Lewis, Kuoni and most recently InterContinental Hotels Group where I was the Global Resourcing Manager.  I am experienced in building talent acquisition teams from scratch, implementing direct sourcing models and creating a workforce strategy in line with the business strategy. I have also worked as part of resourcing project teams selecting and implementing ATS', candidate assessments and psychometric testing.

I am high energy, engaging & motivating. My passion for resourcing is obvious and I use this to drive the team and engage senior stakeholders. I can communicate and operate at all levels of the organisation, having recruited for VP level, and enjoy helping leaders and organisations develop their talent acquisition capability through change.
