I initially joined Stefanini as the Marketing Content Specialist II, working on all content for external communications. I wrote our Trends blogs based on assigned topics and topics I submitted, social media posts, Youtube video descriptions, webinar descriptions, questions and takeaways from webinars, ad campaigns, email campaigns, scripts for various videos, content for landing pages, new website content, and supplementary materials that supported our campaigns (key messages, eBooks, brochures, flyers, etc.). I also proofread materials before they were published on our external channels.

In 2021, my role changed to that of a Solutions Specialist focusing in the areas of Artificial Intelligence, Agile, and Digital Marketing. In this role, I create content and contribute to brainstorming sessions for new solutions and ABM campaigns. I also manage all projects that fall under the aforementioned subject areas.

Finally, I fill out and respond to all RFIs/RFPs forwarded to me by our account executives, meeting deadlines and attaching any necessary financial information.

As the features reporter, I produced original content for each issue of our six-day daily print and digital newspaper, writing two to three stories daily. I also took my own photos and shot my own video, with some assistance from the Multimedia Coordinator. The topics I covered spanned a wide range, from specific profiles to coverage and previews of community events. I also started a popular original series called the "Musician Spotlight," which profiled a local musician each week. Each story included an accompanying photo and short video interview, complete with the musician playing an original song.

I managed a team of three writers, assigning them weekly stories and ensuring these stories were turned into me on time. I then edited these stories, checking for AP style, grammar, flow and sourcing. I also wrote and submitted stories weekly to the editor in chief. Finally, I came into the office to help with production by editing other material, adding headlines and bylines and checking layout for accuracy. I also managed the section's Twitter account, tweeting links to weekly stories and following and communicating with other pertinent accounts.

Arts and Entertainment Editor

As a staff writer for the Arts and Entertainment section of the Grand Valley Lanthorn, I completed at least one story assignment a week, meeting weekly deadlines. Before turning in stories to my editor, I proofread my stories to make sure they followed AP guidelines, were factual and flowed well. While I completed story assignments my editor gave me, I also pitched several original ideas to her, including professor profiles and student musical group profiles. The position required me to be constantly aware of any breaking music stories on campus.

As the first intern for the music blog, Local Spins, which is managed by former Grand Rapids Free Press reporter John Sinkevics, I completed weekly reporting assignments focusing on the West Michigan music scene. Along with writing follow-up concert previews, reviews and artist spotlights, I also photographed events and live-Tweeted them, such as the Electric Forest four-day music festival in Rothbury, MI. I networked extensively and met many prominent musicians of the West Michigan scene
