As a Design Leader with over two decades of experience and a commitment to the Design practice, I'm dedicated to nurturing dynamic, highly efficient environments for design teams. In my role as a Marketing Operations and DesignOps Consultant at Etsy, I focused on optimizing and automating Marketing's annual planning process while introducing essential tooling solutions. In DesignOps, I applied design thinking to conduct an audit, crafted a DesignOps roadmap, then demonstrated value through key initiatives. My engagement culminated in a pitch which was instrumental in gaining approval for a DesignOps new hire. During my tenure as a DesignOps Consultant at Tapestry, I lead a team of 20+ on the development of a multi-tenant Design System platform that significantly enhanced efficiency and productivity. I spearheaded a complex SaaS implementation project involving 50+ people, fostering cross-functional collaboration and achieving notable savings, refined processes, and comprehensive training. At Marriott International, I managed a diverse portfolio, lead the design and development of a B2B platform across 20+ stakeholders, and optimized operational processes. My efforts resulted in streamlined costs and measurable improvements in project outcomes, including sales of over $1.3 billion. For American Express, I built the inaugural in-house digital design team. I established a design strategy, defined every operational facet, and oversaw the development of a 300+ page guidelines platform. Sourcing and developing a team of 14, we collectively generated substantial savings exceeding $10 million in operational costs by strategic project prioritization.
