I began my professional life as a classical musician - an oboist who went on to earn a PhD in Musicology and Ethnomusicology. I loved the rhythm of being of an orchestral musician and academic but some years later I found myself looking for a more expansive palette. A serendipitous opportunity presented itself and I took an entry-level sales position at Forrester Research. Shortly thereafter the company had a successful IPO and I embarked on an unimaginable personal and professional journey. Over more than 25 years in business I have held various roles including CRO, Analyst, Evangelist and most recently co-CEO. I am invigorated by working with smart collaborative professionals and I have a passion for and deep industry expertise in all things RevTech. Here is a brief summary of my recent work experience: In 2023 I joined Mediafly as its co-CEO. I was hired to raise capital, turnaround revenue, increase brand equity, and drive execution of the company's strategy across all functional areas of the business. In 2021 I joined Outreach as its Chief Evangelist. At the time the company was on the cusp of an initial public offering and my role, among many other things, was to educate the market as well as industry and financial analysts on the emergent sales orchestration category. From 2015 through 2021 I was a Principal Analyst at Forrester. I conducted primary research and advised executives at many of the world’s leading brands and technology providers. My job was to help these execs better understand changing market dynamics and the implications for their company, product and commercial strategies. As a globally recognized thought leader, keynote speaker, podcast host, author, and advisor I am passionate about the future of buying and selling, the role product and commercial innovation plays in driving successful revenue performance, and the importance of elevating voices of female leaders. My work has been featured in various commercial, trade and academic publications including, The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Business Insider, Selling Power, GTM Mag, Destination CRM, The Journal of Selling, and many more.
