Mary Valverde's Linkedin Analytics

I was born and raised in Portugal and moved to Canada in 2019. I came for an experience and was caught 2 months into it by a global pandemic. Something you should know about me is that I am very persistent and don’t give up what I want easily. So that is what I did. I worked my hardest to stay in the country and decided that the best for me was to follow my interest in Marketing. That is when I decided to start studying and now, here I am on a 3-year program at Centennial College. I am currently working part-time in customer service, do freelance marketing and social media management, manage a marketing club in my college, and study full-time. If it sounds like a lot… it is. But I love the program I am in, and I am very grateful for all the opportunities that it has presented me with, and that is why I keep myself very organized in order to have the best work and rest balance. I value my mental health and well-being, so I want to make sure I don’t burn out so I can perform my best. I love working in a team environment and helping others achieve their best results. But I don’t like people who don’t communicate. I regard open communication very highly, so everyone is on the same page when working together. One of my favorite hobbies is learning new skills. I have a lot of knowledge in many random fields that wouldn’t matter to most of my job opportunities but will eventually be worth for something.
