After the acquisition of Cbeyond by Birch, I left in late 2014 to pursue other career opportunities and found a natural fit with NXTSYS.  Instead of representing 1 carrier to my customers and agents, I now have the ability to sell over 100 different carriers and now can provide a customized solution to the end-user.  

As a Technology Master Agent, NXTSYS Consulting applies our expertise in dedicated internet/WAN pipes (fiber, fixed wireless, coax, Ethernet), MPLS, hosted phone systems, UCaaS, SIP trunking, disaster recovery, mobility, cloud computing, server collocation/IaaS, Office 365, cloud based security, SD-WAN, and audio/video/web conferencing. NXTSYS has secured relationships with over 150 telecom, cloud, and security providers worldwide plus over 3,000 data centers, so we always have the technology that best fits in your customer’s infrastructure, and makes your solutions work efficiently.

Cbeyond hired me directly out of College in 2005 and I spent that last 10 years as one of their Top 5 Sales reps YTD & LTD.  I believe anyone that wants to begin a successful career in sales should start with a job where you have to cold call businesses by just walking in the front door. 

My roles during my tenure at Cbeyond included strategic solution selling, hunting, account management, channel sales and I provided solutions including Cloud, MPLS, Fiber, and Hosted Voice.  I also handled Account Management for over 1,000 enterprise accounts and the top 15 channel partners for the state of Texas.

Enterprise Solutions Consultant

•	Managed Dallas channel partners accounts and worked on increasing their monthly residuals
•	Train and developed channel partners on retention and contract renewals for their customers. 
•	Assisted channel partners on selling mobile solutions to their customers. 
•	Worked with the channel manager and channel partners on the acquisition of new accounts. 
•	Support the channel partners customers with upgrades, moves, and conversions.

Cloud Channel Manager

Managed and trained my team on solutions based selling, consultative negotiation, activity, and new business acquisition.  Members of my team have been promoted several times to Sales Manager, Vice President of Sales and Channel Manager.

Territory Sales Manager

•	Top Rookie March and April by being over 300% to quota. 
•	Hit Progression Model in Record time with pay raises and higher quota. 
•	Deliver and sell Cbeyond products and services to potential small to midsize business customers.
