♦Created and responded to a variety of work order requests regarding service and maintenance issues including plumbing, mechanical, electrical, carpentry, roofing, appliance, landscaping, fertilizing, pest control, UPS battery system, elevator, generator, backflow, overhead doors, life safety equipment, etc. to ensure the continued optimal operational function of government facilities. 
♦Oversaw the county's routine and preventative maintenance items such as fire panels, sprinklers, extinguishers, fire vent hoods, RPZ backflows, elevator inspections, exit and emergency lighting, overhead door maintenance, and countywide landscaping. ♦Supervised monthly facility and site inspections through two delegated staff. Created and executed work orders for detected issues to be rectified.
♦Assessed and provided information regarding the characteristics of facility issues and proposed solutions on both minor and major work ticket items. 
♦Managed the Public Facilities inventory, and ensured items were accounted for routinely and assigned to work tickets. ♦Monitored inventory levels of department equipment, tools, chemicals, supplies, and parts; ensured availability of adequate materials to conduct work activities. ♦Documented data including work items, labor hours, detailed commentary, and inventory work orders in the preventative maintenance software tracking system. ♦Gathered and analyzed quotes, placed orders, tracked costs for basic and technical products and services, and ensured accurate and timely delivery of items and services. ♦Coordinated with management, coworkers, and contractors on planned work items that required planning and teamwork. 
♦Researched data sources and manuals regarding work processes and equipment to ensure proper, efficient, quality, and timely work delivery.

Service and Contract Supervisor

♦Performed a variety of new priority and routine duties which included general plumbing, electrical, welding, carpentry, painting, mowing and weed trimming, operation of tools, heavy equipment, and small engine operation.
♦Conducted routine building, system and site walkthrough inspections and monitored functionality and safety including HVAC, elevators, fire alarms, generators, water tanks, booster pump stations, public sites, receptacles, light fixtures and lamp performance, etc.
♦Acquired quotes and carried-out capital improvement and repair items. 
♦Served as the formally documented contract inspector for regular elevator maintenance (Kone), and delegated as the contact for HVAC technicians for routine monthly inspections and warranty callouts.
♦Maintained records of contracted or service work and purchases whether microtransactions or major
transactions through the purchasing process.
♦Recommended and implemented general and technical improvements (retrofitting stations, lighting, new water testing equipment, etc.) to facilities and utility systems.
♦Trained, guided, and monitored staff on technical water testing equipment with miscellaneous tools, and maintenance work.
♦Approved official water treatment and distribution operator for potable drinking water including 3 water tanks, booster houses, and piping.
♦Carried out water monthly sampling, testing, and record-keeping as required by State and Federal regulations for 2 water systems serving administrative and recreation sites.
♦Responsible for water system maintenance including testing wells, pumps, leak diagnosis and repair, and adding line replacements.

Maintenance Mechanic

♦Cross-trained between two project locations, Lake Oahe in Pierre, South Dakota, and Lewis and Clark Lake in Crofton, Nebraska.
♦Conducted daily and weekly inspections of sites and federal facilities for maintenance needs including outlets, lights, fans, monitoring leak locations, testing relief wells, pumps, comfort stations, and vandalism.

♦Participated in a crew for natural disaster prevention activities such as sandbagging and waterproofing during lake and river flood conditions in the area.
♦Tracked and recorded a variety of data for use by federal entities including daily use and visitation count tracking, weather, numbers of permit applications, etc.
