I'm an award-winning producer and consultant helping SMEs growing brands, set up in-house video departments. Primarily I focus on maximising the volume, quality and effectiveness of your content. My background is as an award-winning producer and director of high-end TV commercials, feature documentaries and corporate productions. I started my career around 30 years ago as a runner on film sets in Shepperton and Pinewood. From there I worked my way up to produce films and content for some of the biggest international brands. I've seen so much change in the industry and have always been excited by it and open to new opportunities. My first production company Cattleprods was at the forefront of the sector in London to focus solely on Internet video. We capitalised on the transition from film to digital. Using cutting-edge digital cameras to bring traditional high-end TV commercials production value to online video. More recently alongside my commercial work, I've been spending my winters in the Alps and Alaska producing high-end ski and adventure documentaries for companies including Redbull and North Face. Here we really lean on the evolution of digital cinema cameras, where we need to be as fast and light as any teams working in the industry today. With the advent of generative AI and all the incredible online tools available to us, we are going through another revolution. I really feel that we are seeing the democratisation of the post-production industry. With that, I see so many new opportunities for SMEs and smart brands to create content on a level playing field with the bigger brands. However, now all big brands have an in-house production department saving budget on volume content. Then also this allows them to spend more on external agencies for more curated work. With DigVideo I'm bringing the theory and process of big brand content creation and fusing it with AI and digital production techniques to give my clients the edge to maximise their production budgets.
