The site's go-to for all things capacity, forecasting, evaluating bottlenecks, shop data, and more. I manage a team of Planners, Schedulers, and Data Analysts and work closely with site leadership to optimize the utilization of resources. I produce quarterly financial and schedule projections that forecast the shop volume over the next 15 years. These reports are used as inputs into several financial and scheduling systems and are relied upon by the company's executives. I successfully led the transition from MS Project to Primavera P6 for the site scheduling tool, which is now producing resource loaded leveling runs and reports for various stakeholders. In addition, I lead a section of the morning meeting to discuss bottlenecks and roadblocks and assign actions to supporting staff to mitigate the concerns.  

There are regular meetings with executives and customers where I have the opportunity to present my team's deliverables in an engaging and effective manner. The slides I make funnel significant amounts of data into a clear and actionable story.

Station Engineer - Environmental Controls

Coordinate all work regarding Process Safety Management covered processes at Duke Energy's Gibson Station, which includes the anhydrous ammonia and chlorine systems, ensuring the work complies with all regulations and policies set by OSHA, the EPA, and other governing bodies. Also, maintain the pressure vessel program to maintain compliance with the applicable standards.

Engineer I - PSM Specialist

• Perform daily walk downs of inspections points to ensure accurate work on desired scope, work being completed on schedule, and all safety procedures are being followed
• Inspect plant equipment for corrosion, cracks, fatigue, and stress and produce inspection reports based on the findings
• Create weld maps using isometric drawings by removing irrelevant information, adding useful information, and labeling all welds and equipment
• Bolster the High Energy Piping department by organizing, producing, and expanding upon the back end data in system 
• Lead $10,000+ projects
• Shadow operators in the control room and in the field
