A global role with responsibility for devising and implementing global digital strategy, working with regional and local marketing teams to align the digital platform with global and local strategic business objectives. This included the design and implementation of a successful central Governance model to ensure the effective use of digital marketing tools to enhance lead generation opportunities, increase brand perception and add value to the sales and business development process.

Providing both strategic and tactical consultancy to marketing teams, business heads and key Executive stakeholders across APAC, EMEA and the Americas regions the role required clear communications, the development of strong relationships and networks, and an inclusive collaborative approach to projects and campaigns for client acquisition and retention.

Working within a large matrix organisation with 5 direct reports distributed between London, Singapore and Dallas, the position played a key role in the global marketing leadership team to drive digital transformation and the evolution of the brand digitally. 

To meet the challenges of an increasingly digital and tech-savvy client base I introduced and championed the use of Social Media through the organisation, and the commercial real estate industry. Developing the corporate SM strategy and working with local teams and individuals across EMEA, APAC and the Americas to deploy the appropriate social tools for individual markets, C&W was widely viewed and reported upon as having the industry-leading social presence in the UK and US.

Appointed Associate Director whilst serving as Global Digital Manager, delivering multi-channel digital strategy, content marketing, projects and campaigns.

Focussed on roll out of new web platform and improving multi-channel acquisition and retention activity globally.

Associate Director

Within my global role I took on the additional role of Product Owner for the Global Web Platform redevelopment project which delivered a new global network of 48 corporate websites in 29 languages on a new global CMS built on Sitecore.

Leading the US-based project and development teams from London and working closely with key global stakeholders I owned the project through from building the initial business case and funding proposal to the Global Board to code deployment and launch. 

This complex and challenging project required leadership and a hands-on approach through the entire process from; tendering and selection of a global digital partner agency, running requirements gathering sessions in Hong Kong, New York, Warsaw, Paris and London, digital strategy conception and design, user experience design, global executive stakeholder management, resource [internal and external] and budget management, content strategy, UAT and issue resolution.

Managing content publishing across 16 EMEA markets, driving the introduction of email marketing into  the region and upskilling the regional marketing teams in email and digital marketing best practice.

EMEA Web Manager

Providing strategic advice to Healthcare Communications agencies for a range of ad-hoc digital projects in support of wider disease awareness campaigns and health initiatives. Working within the strict regulatory confines of the industry to provide online platforms, wireframes, IA and UI advice for patient groups and educational sites for clinicians across a range of conditions. Advising Health Comms professionals on strategies to engage disparate audiences via innovative digital solutions. Building platforms to support traditional PR and Medical Education initiatives with online medical education, testing, registration and certification. Designing and supporting newsletters, tweets and e-zines for patient groups and health communications agencies.

The Property Forum

Building a digital proposition for the residential property professionals community, creating a daily news  site and forum for discussions on the digitisation of the property sale and conveyancing market.

Devised content strategy, managed content calendar and content contributors and grew subscription base from 0 to 27,000 within 6 months.

Continual development of business analysis and reporting tools via intranet.
