I guide our UK production partners to accurately forecast and manage their financial plans on Netflix Original Unscripted Series and Stand Up Comedies so they can come in on or under budget. I also work as the Pride@EMEA ERG lead, in a role where I form the connective tissue between all of our EMEA Pride@ groups to increase alignment, connectivity and engagement. Recently, I've also taken back the helm of running the EMEA Studio Finance Inclusion Conversations series. Previously at Netflix, I've been based in Amsterdam, LA and Singapore, covering a wide breadth of projects across our APAC, LATAM and UCAN markets. Having worked professionally from the age of 16 running my family Bed & Breakfast whilst finishing high school I've gathered a vast amount of life experience from a multitude of people, places and predicaments (no lies... the things I saw running a Bed & Breakfast whilst a teen will stay with me forever 🤣)! Starting off running a Bed & Breakfast as a teen when my parents immigrated to New Zealand and I stayed behind in South Africa to finish school, to becoming a theatre producer/digital marketing manager for a professional theatre company, then making tea for the accounting team on a Brad Pitt movie, and finally becoming a Studio Exec at Netflix - my life path has been wild and adventurous, living semi-permanently in over 10 countries and working on a multitude of fascinating projects. Above all I see myself as a logical creative... this isn't my Myers Briggs type or some wanky psychological doctrine, but my own take on myself. I approach life logically, and creatively. I don't set myself goals because they can be avoided easily and can flatten your ego if not obtained - instead, I just do. I'm not about following some Instagram influencer's falsities, my life is epic because I choose it to be. My goal in Life is never having to look back on what I have done and to say to myself............but what for?……..as after all, the only restrictions which one really has are those which they've allowed themselves to be bound by. Oh gosh, it just got even more wanky 😉
