Tech Thwarts Flames, Averts Catastrophe

Connect & protect is a necessary capability for the insurer of the future❗  
...whatever the business line, risk prevention and mitigation is better than  only reimbursing claims

I'm proud of this paper, coauthored by Bjoern von Siemens, Pierre-Yves Antier, and me. It shows how the combination of deep knowledge of risk insured (Medical Malpractice) and the #IoT paradigm has allowed scaling an approach where risk prevention is being done to the insured surgery rooms.  Caresyntax platform ingesting data from cameras and existing equipment allows the orchestration of an evolving set of real-time risk reduction actions and behavioral change programs (Real-time AI guided decision support for surgeons, surgery process control, prediction of the likelihood of Surgical Site Infections, checklists, medical equipe training and education, reports to the loss control team, ...)
