I am a community-focused entrepreneur with deep experience in the real estate industry, and latterly in the technology space. Born and raised in London, Ontario, I saw firsthand the challenges that small and mid-size businesses (SMBs) faced with the emergence and prevalence of the ‘big box’ players. The problem was only exacerbated in the bigger cities. That realization drove me to launch Locorum, a rewards platform that drives business to local SMBs by incentivizing communities to shop from them. To date, we have seen exceptional results in London, ON, and are now bringing our product to the Greater Toronto and Vancouver markets. I have also spent 13+ years in progressive roles within the real estate industry. After starting my career as a realtor with Royal LePage Triland, I continued with Keller Williams Lifestyles Realty, creating my own team in 2012, The Santa Sells Houses Real Estate Team, which eventually moved to the Re/Max Centre City Brokerage. Noticing that talent was over-stretched and results were being under-delivered, I decided to harness the power of emerging technology to streamline our processes. Making the customer experience our North Star has made us a household name in London while also focusing us on our primary mission – helping buyers purchase their dream homes and sellers obtain top market value for theirs. Having led and been a part of diverse teams in my career, I have always been an advocate for my team members’ growth and development.
