Matthew worked at the Haub School of Business as a Graduate Assistant, Executive Lecturer, and Lead Instructor. Matthew was responsible for assisting with the teaching of freshmen through seniors in his graduate assistant role. Based on his ability he was able to propose a course in SAP to be taught to juniors and seniors.  Matthew was responsible for the enrollment, development, and delivery of the course to juniors and seniors. 

During his time at St. Joseph's University Matthew co-authored a paper that was published in a educational and professional journal. The paper, A Teaching Case Using Cost/Benefit Relationships within an ERP System, won a best paper award from the IBER Conference and was published in the 2006 Journal of Business Case Studies.
