As a Product Specialist for Late Nite Labs I was responsible for providing demonstrations and training for all offered academic disciplines (Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry and Physics). My primary responsibility was to have peer to peer conversations with instructors, evaluate their needs and determine if Late Nite Labs could help them achieve their goals. While at Late Nite Labs I was involved from discovery to close of the sale. Prior to Late Nite Labs I had a successful career in pharmaceutical sales. In my second full year at AstraZeneca I had the #1 portfolio sales in the Austin, Texas territory. While at AstraZeneca I also received an Excellence in Action award for my work. Before starting my career in sales I completed my Ph.D. at The University of Texas at Austin under Dr. Joseph Starnes in his Cardiac Metabolism Laboratory. While at UT I was a TA in the biology department and worked as an Adjunct at Austin Community College teaching Anatomy and Physiology. My dissertation investigated the interactions of exercise and statin administration on cardiac hypertrophy.
