Hi 👋 I’m Matt. As the Chief Strategy Officer at Lawfully, an immigration technology company, I’ve had the privilege of helping over 2 million people on their immigration journeys. Before joining Lawfully, I was the EVP of Consumer Products at SimpleCitizen (acquired by Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy, LLP in 2020) and later served as a transformation and strategy leader at Berry Appleman & Leiden (BAL), a major immigration law firm. During my career, I’ve led teams and built products designed to enhance the immigration and mobility experience for millions worldwide. I graduated from the University of Cambridge’s Judge Business School, where I focused on social innovation and researched fundraising dynamics for Benefit Corporations. I am passionate about using technology to expand legal access, especially for immigrants. Beyond work, I’m an avid traveler, skier, and cyclist. I’ve climbed Kilimanjaro, rafted the Zambezi, and skied the Andes. When I’m not on an adventure, I’m likely enjoying a glass of natural wine, walking my dog, or immersed in a good book—be it historical fiction, sci-fi, or a biography about a leader I admire.
