Experienced content strategist, writer, and editor focused on B2B technology. Have written about everything from offshore software development and cloud management/cloud security to user experience design, data center cooling technology and quantum computing. I have been involved in podcasting for a decade, both as producer and host. I launched MarketingProfs' podcast, "Marketing Smarts" as well as Aberdeen Group's "The Intelligent Business Show" (focused on all aspects of data in the enterprise). I also hosted Novell's "Cloud Chasers" podcast, a pioneering show on cloud computing that ran from 2010 to 2012. I have spoken around the world on digital marketing, user experience design, the business of freelancing and patent law. My career started in academia. I have a PhD in German Studies from Cornell and taught at Middlebury College. The first part of my career outside of academia was focused on HR. I created and ran the training function at Aquent (global staffing firm), served as corporate spokesperson, and managed internal communications before moving into marketing and launching their corporate blog.
