The Campbell Institute

The Campbell Institute was an English language school with campuses in Wellington and Auckland. It hosted over 900 students/ year and contributed significantly to Wellington's economic and socio-cultural landscape. As part of the senior leadership team, I contributed to the creation and implementation of the business strategy and lead the growth of sales revenue by over 20% in 2016. The business attracted the interest of investors and was sold in 2017 to ACG Education.

- Managed website build and development of marketing collateral for The Campbell Institute.
- Business planning and development of funding pitch for online VFX School leading to successful initial capital raise.

WREDA is the regional economic development agency for the lower North Island, combining the economic development activities of Wellington City Council and Greater Wellington Regional Council. In the role of International Education Manager, I developed and delivered the first comprehensive international education strategy for the Wellington region.

I lectured 150+ students and taught seminar classes with a focus on academic writing and research skills, was involved in curriculum development and trained and moderated assessments.

GET Universal is an international language school and subsidiary of the PeaceBoat Group in Japan. As International Director I managed a diverse international teaching team and worked along programme coordinators onboard an international cruise liner. Core responsibilities included hiring, orientation and training, and implementation of English and Spanish language programmes to a 180+ student cohort.
