At age 19 I was the head of an international record label with worldwide distribution, but I moved on when I realized that I’d have to do it for the rest of my life. Um, no. I then worked an overnight security job where I read more than 1,000 books in 8 years. Again…rest of my life…no, thanks. So this is what I’m doing now: https://www.mattkaramazov.com/now/ As a public educator, I teach people about the transformative power of books, literature, and reading. I do this primarily through my website and social media presence, of course, but I've also launched a transformative learning platform called the Stairway to Wisdom. You can find that here: https://stairway.highexistence.com/ I also use my platform to raise money for Doctors Without Borders, to help them save lives all over the world, and First Book, to help them provide books to every child who wants one. Actually, 10% of my profits from the Stairway to Wisdom are donated to First Book. After I learned that in America, the Bureau of Prisons uses 3rd- and 4th-grade reading stats to predict how many prison beds they're likely to need in the future, I couldn't NOT do my part to help.
