Agoric is an open-source development company launching an interoperable Proof-of-Stake chain and economy. Our JavaScript-native smart contract platform offers developers a safe, reusable library of DeFi components to rapidly build and deploy on-chain.

As the first HR hire at Agoric, I'm tasked with developing and implementing cutting edge HR programs across:

Human Resources Director

Sundae

As employee 100 at Sundae, and the first hire on the People Team, I had to own and operate each role within the HR ecosystem. 

I scaled alongside Sundae and was tasked with building and leading a team overseeing the entire employee lifecycle (Recruiting, Onboarding, Performance, Total Rewards) as Sundae grew to 600 total employees.

- Provide strategic business partnership, thought partnership, and coaching to the leaders of the organization to build and serve high performing, diverse and inclusive teams
- Work with leaders to develop effective organizational structures (succession planning, org design) to drive organizational health
- Proactively identified opportunities to enhance the employee experience and partnered with management to develop and implement innovative and sustainable solutions
- Built credibility and trust among leadership; resolving employee concerns with compassion and follow through
- Provide rigorous data analysis and reporting solutions based on business needs
- Designed and facilitated the overall Performance Summary Cycle and employee engagement survey throughout the year
- Led organizational effectiveness strategies for the business including strategic planning, visioning, organization planning, talent assessment, change management and team building
- Establish Individual Development Plans for each HR team member
- Serve as the HR team focal on key projects and initiatives
- Develop, host and facilitate a quarterly development session/offsites for all HR team members

?What If! Innovation is a boutique management consulting firm which specializes in innovation consulting, new product development, and organizational change. ?What If! Innovation was acquired by Accenture in March 2019. 

Reporting directly to the Global Head of People in London, I oversaw the talent function for the New York office, managing a team of talent specialists (Learning and Development Manager, Junior Recruiter) and working alongside company leadership. 

We rebuilt the recruiting and interview process incorporating cutting edge case studies, developed a robust onboarding/shadow program and successfully implemented a performance and development program that emphasized continuous learning and radical candor. 

From a core HR perspective, I oversaw a number of terminations, drafted severance agreements, and developed performance improvement plans (with the intention of success!) for low performing employees. 

At my guidance, we improved our HR technology (ATS, Payroll, Performance) and reimagined our benefits to reflect our employee population.

NY People Lead - ?What If! Innovation

Dentsu Aegis Network

Reporting directly to the US Head of Talent, I acted as the program manager for “unique” roles across 50 media agencies under the Denstu Aegis umbrella. Unique roles fell within the following departments: Data, Technology, Finance, Legal, and HR.

It was my responsibility not to just source/vet senior level candidates for open roles, but to implement corporate processes/guidelines across the various agencies. 

- Partnered with hiring managers and interviewers to develop best practices for hiring efforts; keeping an eye on scalability and quality.

- Drove diversity, equity and inclusion at every stage of the recruiting process while holding hiring managers accountable in order to develop a more diverse set of exceptional talent.

- Oversaw the execution of executive-level searches within the organization, partnering with C-suite level employees. 

- Owned corporate recruiting metrics for "unique" roles.  

- Championed programs focused on enhancing candidate experience, interviewer training, employer brand and referrals.

- Partnered with other recruiting leads and HR professionals for requisition management, people analytics, and internal mobility.

- Expert use of LinkedIn Recruiter, iCIMs, Entelo, TTI to develop pipelines and qualify candidates.

Vecna Robotics 

Vecna Robotics is a firm that builds both software and hardware to serve the healthcare and logistics industry. 

I helped develop a new software engineering interview process, onboarding program and revamped our on-campus presence during large scale career fairs (MIT). 

The great majority of roles filled were various Software Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Roboticist, and Product/Project Managers - role types vary from entry level to VP of engineering. 

- Developed relationships with the Engineering and leadership team to collaborate during the hiring process.
- Oversaw a robust internship program (50 each summer - SW, HW, PM)
- Used various platforms to source excellent talent, including both active and passive candidates.
- Manage full cycle recruiting process from job description to offer negotiation.
