I’m a founder helping founders unlock potential.

Driven by a passion for entrepreneurship and social impact, I have built and sold multiple companies, served on numerous boards, and led initiatives that bridge profitability with meaningful change. Currently, I'm on a mission to help entrepreneurs unlock their potential personally and professionally.

Early Career:
At 22, I moved to San Francisco just before the dot-com bubble burst, started in marketing at QuinStreet in the early days of affiliate marketing and customer acquisition. I gained invaluable internet business experience and contributed to QuinStreet's journey to IPO (NASDAQ: QNST). By 25, a side gig building websites on nights and weekends started generating $30k/month and led me to start working for myself.

Entrepreneurial Success:
Between ages 25 and 32, I bootstrapped and sold three companies, achieving six-figure, seven-figure, and eight-figure exits, all without any outside capital. Highlights include selling a health and nutrition blog for $600k, a portfolio of websites that achieved 100% of its earn-out for 7-figures, and the comparison shopping fintech platform Trouve to Bankrate for 8-figures.

Current Ventures:
I serve on seven boards, guiding companies from startups to those with $3B+ in sales. I lead a $100m investment fund and run the Antonio V Glassberg Educational Foundation, supporting bright kids with physical challenges. Additionally, I am spearheading "The Inflection” with Sahil Bloom (which I expect to be my biggest and best work).

Social Impact and Learning:
As the founding CEO of Shortlist, I worked on youth unemployment in Africa through HR technology and advisory services. I am committed to continuous learning, having studied with experts like Dr. John Gottman and trained in numerous professional coaching, conflict resolution, emotional intelligence and mindfulness programs.

I am passionate about unlocking potential in businesses and individuals, committed to impactful, sustainable entrepreneurship, and dedicated to lifelong learning and development.

Social media doesn’t reward polish.

It rewards authenticity.

Social media isn’t just about polished ads or big budgets. Some of the most effective campaigns I’ve seen are deceptively simple — built on genuine connection and authentic creators rather than expensive production. Creators shine when they truly embody the brand’s persona. Authenticity beats polish every single time. A kitchen chat with grandma can outsell a $100K studio production — because people connect with people, not perfect lighting.

For example, Company X saw one of their top-performing ads come from a founder-led video. The founder sat in a car and casually shared their favorite products — no script, no studio, no fuss. Just authenticity. That one simple, honest testimonial outperformed far more polished campaigns because it felt human.

The takeaway: Dominating social isn’t just about spend. It’s about product, positioning, and partnerships that align with social dynamics. When a creator’s authenticity amplifies a product that already has inherent social potential, the impact compounds. Social success is built in the real world. By real people sharing real stories. That’s where true connection — and real growth — begins.

The fastest growing brands follow this simple formula:

5 parts social. 1 part search.

The digital media landscape has shifted — dramatically. Most of today’s fastest-growing brands spend roughly five times more on social than on search. This doesn’t mean SEO is obsolete. It means that product, positioning, and creative need to evolve for the attention economy we live in today. Search captures intent. Social creates demand. The balance between the two determines who leads and who lags.

Connor Rolain, Head of Growth at a $1B DTC brand, put it perfectly: “Unless you’re a big-time demand capture play (like tires or mattresses), it’s rare for search to be 50% of your media mix.” Drew Fallon, Co-Founder & CEO of the DTC finance SaaS company Iris — someone who sees more brand P&Ls than almost anyone — added: “The best brands I see are 5:1 social to search.”

The 5:1 ratio explains a lot. It’s why some products dominate SEO but struggle to break through on social. The answer isn’t necessarily spending more — it’s designing products, positioning, and creative that naturally fit social dynamics.

Scroll speed, attention hooks, authentic creators — these aren’t nice-to-haves anymore. They’re table stakes. The brands that thrive on social understand that the creative itself is the performance lever. Marketing today isn’t just about being found. It’s about being noticed — fast. In a feed moving at the speed of thought, attention is the new intent.

Product-market fit gets you started.

Product-channel fit makes you scale.

Product-market fit used to be enough. Today, product-channel fit separates slow growers from breakout brands. The strategic takeaway is simple: your product roadmap should be shaped by the channels you plan to win in.

SEO-first products
These are complex, science-heavy, and education-driven. They build credibility over time and win with high-intent audiences. Long-form content, detailed benefits, and trust signals matter. 

Social-first products
These are visually distinct, trend-aligned, and mapped to persona behaviors. They create desire at the top of the funnel and scale faster. A strong example is GRUNS gummies — a product designed to grab attention, spark curiosity, and drive emotional engagement in seconds.

The insight is clear: what works for search doesn’t always work for social — and vice versa. Product strategy and creative execution must evolve together to match the way your audience discovers and experiences your brand. A great ad can't save a forgettable product.

3 core traits from social winners:

Social success isn’t just about creative execution — it starts at the product level. Over time, I’ve noticed that the products that truly thrive on social share three core traits:

1. Visual Differentiation
They look or feel different. Something about them demands attention.
Think of a beauty balm with a frosting-like surface that practically begs you to dip a finger in it on video. On social, texture, shape, and visual uniqueness aren’t just aesthetics — they’re the hook.

2. Simple, Broad Benefit Story
 The value must be instantly graspable and widely relatable.
 A bright, snackable fiber gummy, for example, communicates a clear benefit in seconds. The story doesn’t need to explain everything — it just needs to make sense fast and feel relevant to a large audience.

3. Trend + Persona Fit
 The product taps into rising behaviors or cultural waves and can be messaged to multiple persona segments. From “busy moms” to “fit dads,” or niche trends like users supplementing while on GLP-1 peptides — products that align with real-world behaviors land faster.

A lesson from the trenches: a specialty brand under a $10B+ holding company was predicted to underperform compared to its bigger siblings. But the smaller brand hit a trend and exploded. Traditional customer research had missed the  momentum. However non-traditional data sources like Pinterest trends data was graphing the sudden growth if you simply knew where to look. 

What this taught me: social products don’t just need great creatives. They need to look different, say less, and fit the moment. When these pieces align, even small products can capture massive attention and convert in environments where audiences aren’t actively shopping. Social marketing is not about tricking the algorithm. It’s about designing products that are inherently scroll-stopping. What makes a product feel “social-native” to you?
