Dr. Kuhn is the Chief Technology Officer of Volusia County Schools (VCS). As leader of the VCS Information Technology Services (ITS) Division, he oversees many areas such as network infrastructure, technical support, instruction applications, telecommunications, audio/visual systems, enterprise implementations, database administration, student information systems, and more. As a Google Certified Educator 2/Administrator and online PD developer, he has extensive staff development and instructional technology experience. And, as co-author of the 1st and 2nd editions of the ASCD book, Using Technology with Classroom Instruction that Works, he is steeped in digital solutions that transform the learning environment, deepen student understanding, and extend & apply learning opportunities. He has managed numerous projects for schools, districts, and states that have changed the odds for student success by combining the needs of the school system, adult learning theory, and blended learning methods to efficiently and successfully improve educator effectiveness.
