I served as adjutant, which is similar to assistant to the CEO in the civilian world, until 2001, when I made a terrible decision that landed me in military confinement for five and one-half years.  About one year into the experience of confinement, I starting learning about and practicing mindfulness.  Mindfulness helped me transform the greatest failure of my life into an incredibly positive, life-changing experience.  Everything I share with the world today as an author, speaker, and trainer, resulted from that incredible experience.
