Collibra

Group director for multi-cloud, AWS and GCP customer SaaS Data Intelligence product, R&D and ML systems.  Oversee Continuous Delivery pipeline, SCM, deployment systems. Responsible for packaging Collibra to run in customer’s accounts as well as multiple cloud providers.  Teams include - Product Delivery, Infrastructure Engineering, and Managed Cloud teams. Team consists of over 20 team members (built from 4) across the globe managing over 4000 systems in over 20 Cloud regions, which include k3s, EKS and GKE Kubernetes clusters, PostgreSQL databases and ML systems.

Operations and Engineering Director for WebMD Consumer Web Properties used by 138 million visitors who consume 1.2 billion page views each month. Manage 25 FTEs, vendors, budgets, and senior management expectations in a fast-paced work environment where priorities change on a daily basis. Implemented an Agile Operations methodology which increased employee output by 50%. Designed, created, and ran a multi-disciplined group of Developers, QA, and Operations personnel to improve the reliability and scalability of WebMD's premier products. Most recently, we built out a new CI/CD process that joined operations and development teams together while migrating some applications to a cloud provider. We evaluated AWS, Google Cloud and Azure

Managed the Web Operations team responsible for www.webmd.com as well as all 100 applications that supported the site including registration, symptom checker and food & fitness planner. Redesigned and streamlined the deployment system using Windows Powershell. Migrated www.webmd.com to virtualized infrastructure without reducing performance. Responsible for 3 FTEs.

• Responsible for over 400 of highly available HP ProLiant systems across data centers, client sites via Internet and WAN.

• Architected systems and support environments for a high transaction real-time news/ticker market data system.  System includes a multi-data center application and servers running at client sites connected via WAN and Internet.

• Managed server information system project to help manage incidents, change control, system patches, and software deployments in order to facilitate group growth.
