During this role, I was deputised with accountability to provide efficient end user support service for designated business applications.

I utilised strategic acumen in compiling, defining, and documenting business requirements and find solutions to rectify failure in collaboration with end users and partners.

I oganised relevant BACS system training sessions for colleagues.

I successfully revamped service delivery process to achieve internal and external customers' satisfaction.

I fostered and sustained working relationships with all stakeholders.

• Saved Council's customer's Half a Million pounds (unfortunately staff made a mistake with Housing Benefits BACS payments) attempting to debit monies from customer's accounts, rather than crediting the amount.

• Implemented WEB based version of BACS software, to enable accountants to send payments to BACS from anywhere (so that accountants didn't need to be in the office to use their bank cards - and this enabled them to WFH.)

I played a vital role as Lead Officer for the BACS system, evaluating all financial information whilst ensuring the integrity of data and integration of each BACS file within the system

I engaged as first point of contact for end user support while communicating with internal /external stakeholders 

I implemented change and continuous improvement initiatives, which improved service performance

• Assisted manager with installation of new financials and purchasing systems, as well as provided training and continuous ongoing support to end users

• Introduced and installed a later version of BACS software to streamline council systems
