My role is to raise awareness of new products and technology and to study with the customers the advantages they can have in their plant or how to solve existing problems. All of this is considering specifications, licensee directions, and
design documents.

Skillext was a start-up entering the aftermarket and service market.
Sales of: valves, pumps, mechanical seals, hydraulic components. Parts for gas turners, compressors, pumps and valves. Supply of original spare parts and/or from reverse engineering.
Provision of highly skilled personnel for overhauls, installations and activities at the site.
Starting from scratch, I brought the company to a turnover of 5 million/year and a profit of 55%.

    Set up meetings between client decision makers and company’s practice leaders/Principals

    Work with marketing staff to ensure that prerequisites are fulfilled within a timely manner

Business Development / Sales Manager

Identification and development of new market opportunities abroad in the maintenance of rotating machines field; business plan preparation; oversees market investigation; choose of the countries to approach; choose of the strategy for each country (partnership with: Italian companied localized, local maintenance company and international companies; qualification with national oil companies and power generation companies); identify gaps (existing and/or expected) in the needs of potential clients; presentation of the company and the services to potential customers. 
Service Agreement with original manufacturer of rotating machines (General Electric and Dresser). 
Creation of a new structure and personnel selection.
Participation at international tenders.
Offers preparation for single activities and long term contracts (technical conditions analysis, activities planning, payment conditions, performance bond and warranty, after sale assistance, interface with technicians, suppliers and consultants). 
Support in the negotiation of new contracts and commercial operations. New services creation.

Interface with: the client ENI, the partner Nuovo Pignone, the locals authorities (National Oil Company, Immigration & Visa, Custom, Department of Labor, Embassy, etc.) and the internal departments (HR, purchasing, engineering, IT, shipping department, etc.).

I have covered the roles of project manager, sales manager, and business development. The experience gained in these three roles enables me to adapt products so they can easily access new markets, identify the most suitable and receptive markets, and create a team of individuals who can nurture and manage these markets effectively.
