Senior Financial Analyst, Revenue Growth Management

Supporting 2 Sales Directors and 7 Customer Development Managers, my role is to track and manage promotional spend for Sobeys, Metro, Safeway, Overwaitea and Interprovincial Coop. I report and I course correct the variance versus plan every month in order to achieve all KPI targets. (GS/NS/GP/GM/LBS). I work cross functionally with marketing, sales on sales strategy, planning and optimization of our annual operating plan.
Key Achievements:
•	Optimized trade spend management through analytics at two retailers to deliver 250k in GP while maintaining the same sales volume and gross sales.
•	Recovered 100k in fraudulent deductions from another retailer while keeping our relationship strong.
•	Created a new process to report on trade spend management that delivered more accurate controls. 
•	Increased forecasting accuracy through post-mortem analytics that help our inventory level.
•	Managed the clear out of our rebranded product without any loss.
•	Team lead for trade and transition management in the divestiture of McCain foods Pizza business (150m Gross Sales/year).
•	Increased team bonding and fostered a better working relationship with all departments by being active in the social committee and organizing social events for the McCain staff.
